Soucek let’s match day cat out of bag

West Ham’s Hammer of last year will be missing from the team for today’s game against Leeds United!

The player has chosen to break the news himself on Twitter revealing that he will be supporting the team from home declaring: “Huge support from home. Let’s go West Ham.”

Soucek and one or two others are clearly less cautious than the manager who refused to give details on who did and didn’t have the virus in his presser ahead of the game.

We understand that Soucek started his self isolation last Wednesday and that means should test negative he will be back for the game against Manchester United at Old Trafford next weekend.

His absence today presumably means that Manu Lanzini will play in a deeper role with Pablo Fornals and Nikola Vlasic playing in the more offensive positions.

The only other question to be answered is whether Kurt Zouma will return today.
