West Ham United manager David Moyes finds himself at a crossroads as his contract nears its expiry date and his future at the club remains unclear.

Moyes’ reign at West Ham has been a classic tale of two halves. He delivered European glory with the Europa Conference League win last season, but the current campaign has been a struggle, leaving his position under scrutiny.

With Moyes’ contract expiring this summer, negotiations with the ownership are on the horizon. Adding to the uncertainty, West Ham has reportedly already explored conversations with potential replacements, including Ruben Amorim, Julen Lopetegui, Paulo Fonseca, and now Herr Flick

Amidst the speculation, a surprise suitor has emerged. Spartak Moscow, capitalising on Moyes’ uncertain situation following the dismissal of their previous manager, reportedly approached him with an offer. However, Moyes appears to have declined their advances, choosing to prioritise finishing the current season with West Ham.

The ongoing war in Ukraine, coupled with Spartak’s current position (4th in the Russian league), could be additional factors influencing Moyes’ decision to reject their offer.

Despite the swirling rumors and potential replacements being considered, Moyes has publicly maintained his focus on leading West Ham through the rest of the season, putting club duties before personal considerations.

Moyes in Moscow? Is this serious. Not very likely any manager in Europe would go there surely. I’d like to hear Yarmolenkos opinion on it.

You often refer to. Moyes reign. being. Of two halves ,the first a very successful one .
do you not consider the other aspects. of. the. First. half. . that. he. spent. up to 450 million on transfers and what was achieved ? todate. ONE outstanding player ? he has sold good players at substantially reduced prices. who will. go. elsewhere. to prove. their true. value. He has for inexplicable reasons. chosen to. practically ignore his. brilliant academy. .. instead has. developed. the oldest, smallest squad in the league , expecting them to. play. to his regime.
the squad has slowly been decimated ,not overnight ( or second half. ) as you suggest but
FOR. YEARS throughout your FIRST. HALF.
