Sports Direct appear to have jumped the gun by selling the new West Ham 2016/2017 home shirt a full twenty fours before a big launch by the club at the new club store in Stratford.
West Ham fan, Cameron Green from Southend posted images on twitter this afternoon showing Sports Direct selling the home shirt for £44.99, a full tenner cheaper than the Official club website and shop.
The Hammers are planning a big launch event tomorrow at 7pm at the new club store outside the former Olympic Stadium. A number of first team players are expected to attend along side five hundred invited supporters with the whole event will be broadcast live on West Ham’s youtube channel. It appears that Newcastle owner Mike Ashley has spoilt some of the wow factor of tomorrow’s big reveal.
Never let it be said that Mike Ashley doesn’t continue to live up to his reputation as a utter turniphead (I use the term because I’m not supposed to say anything rude on here)
This “person” Ashley needs to be hung, drawn and quartered, very slowly.I’m glad Newcastle are in the Championship because Sullivan and Gold facing him could turn very ugly!
West hams own fault for releasing a product to a competetor (especially mike ashley!) before releasing it themselves. What a pair of plonkers.
