Spurs outbreak could impact West Ham game

Spurs have reportedly been hit with a Covid outbreak within their squad which could impact their preparations for December games including their cup game against West Ham

A number of players and staff members returned positive lateral flow tests on Monday, according to Football.London.

They will now undergo PCR tests on Tuesday to confirm the results before any decisions are made over how to proceed.

Antonio Conte’s side have a must-win Europa Conference League game against Rennes on Thursday night before facing Brighton in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.
They then face Leicester City and Liverpool before talking on the Hammers on 22nd December in the quarter finals of the Carabao Cup.
There is no doubt preparations for these games will take a hit and should the PCR tests confirm the cases the games themselves could be impacted.
The Premier League have seen a steady rise in COVID infections in players and staff in the last four weeks.

  2. 10 days from Monday is the 16th December. We are not due to play them until the 22nd. How will this impact that fixture?
