West Ham have confirmed that a supporter stabbed before Sunday’s game with Tottenham has been discharged from hospital.
A 35-year-old man was admitted to hospital on Sunday after being stabbed in the abdomen at approximately 3pm in White Hart Lane at the junction with Tottenham High Road.
The man has now left hospital after receiving treatment with West Ham tweeting that they wished the supporter a “continued, speedy recovery” as do all at ClaretandHugh.
No arrests have been made and the Hammers have again called upon witnesses to help police with their enquiries.
“Following the Metropolitan Police’s initial appeal for information and witnesses, which was retweeted on the club’s Official Twitter account on Sunday evening, no arrests have yet been made and the club are again calling on supporters to assist the investigation,” a statement on the club’s official website read.
