Stanislav Lobotka scouting report

|

Stanislav Lobotka is a proper defensive midfielder with the attributes to cover the ground and shield the back-line imperiously. He can pass the ball forward with incisive accuracy with an average completion rate of 91%, a number comparable to some of the best deeper-lying playmakers in Europe.

The 23-year-old also has an eye for picking key through balls and averaged 0.3 per game.

The Slovakian doesn’t shy away from making tackles, doing so at a rate of 1.7 per game and makes 1 crucial interception per game. He is a proper nuisance for the attackers between the defensive lines.

Lobotka has the qualities to become one of the key figures for Pellegrini’s West Ham to play alongside Declan Rice.

The midfielder who has often been called the Slovakian Luka Modric is still just 24 years of age but has shown a huge potential in a short amount of time. However, the challenges in the Premier League will be the sternest one for the player and it will be interesting to see whether he will flourish if signed by the Hammers.
