Stats boost Bowen’s hopes

Statistics for Hammer Jarrod Bowen show why he may soon be knocking on the door of Gareth Southgate for an England squad place.

Bowen by the numbers in Premier League games (Source: PremierLeague.com) : 39 shot-creating actions, 12 shots on target, 1.24 shots on target per 90 minutes, 154 pressures, 11 fouls won, 10 successful dribbles, 12 tackles won .

Overall he has made 26 shots with a shooting accuracy of 46%, missed 4 big chances, made 206 passes at 20.60 passes per match and made 48 crosses.

Bowen has made ten appearances in the Premier League this season scoring two goals (one with his left foot and one with his right foot) and made two assists.

Last season the 24-year-old forward made 38 appearances, scoring eight goals and made five assists in the top flight league.

Earlier this week, The Athletic‘s Roshane Thomas said Bowen is on Gareth Southgate’s radar adding if the winger maintains his form it won’t be long before he accompanies Declan Rice on Three Lions international duty.
