West Ham United Technical director Tim Steidten is reported to be well on the case in finding a striker as Michail Antonio’s form continues to slump.

The 33 year old was in poor form against Villa on Sunday and with only Danny Ings available as an IMMEDIATE back up the issue may become critical by winter.

And should that be the case the board are going to have to stump up money given their claim that none is available for the winter window.

The Hammers curse in finding strikers has gone on for far too a long but hopefully Steidten’s arrival can turn things around.

According to 90min West Ham have been scouting AZ Alkmaar’s Vangelis Pavlidis who were beaten by the Irons in the semi-final of the Conference trophy last season.

The site claims that he was watched by Steidten’s scouts over the weekend although Brentford too are claimed to be interested.
