Strict new COVID measures at London Stadium

West Ham have brought in stricter COVID measures at the London Stadium.

The club confirmed on Thursday that all fans attending the stadium would be required to follow strict protocols in order to contain the spread of the virus.

Hammers fans will be required to complete a COVID-19 declaration form sent out by email upon buying a ticket, while fans will also need to have a COVID pass, or a negative PCR test result from 48 hours prior to kick-off.

Fans are also asked to arrive to the ground early and to wear a face covering in all indoor areas of the stadium; supporters also need to stay at home if they have any kind of COVID symptoms.

The new restrictions come about as Spurs’ clash with Leicester was postponed due to an outbreak of cases, along with Manchester United’s encounter with Brighton this weekend.

It remains to be seen if West Ham’s game against Norwich goes the same way.
