West Ham United‘s pursuit of striker Youssef En-Nesyri faces a potential setback with the player reportedly growing frustrated by the lack of progress in negotiations.

West Ham has held a strong interest in En-Nesyri for several years, but he previously rejected their advances twice. Which makes it all the more amusing that the Moroccan is now supposedly frustrated with the Hammers for a delay in transfer proceedings.

The arrival of former Sevilla manager Julen Lopetegui, who previously worked with En-Nesyri, reignited hopes of a successful transfer.

According to reports , En-Nesyri is said to be annoyed by West Ham’s lack of progress, potentially opening the door for other clubs. Reading between the lines this has the whiff of an agent led story with a view to stirring up some latent interest.

The report suggests En-Nesyri has also rejected a move to Fenerbahçe, a club managed by his former Roma admirer, Jose Mourinho.

Now it appears that West Ham faces competition from Saudi Arabian side Al-Qadsiah, who are reportedly close to agreeing personal terms with the Moroccan striker. Hopefully, En-Nesyri will get his move and this protracted saga will be over once and for all.

He’s no interest in joining us. Just in using us as leverage to get those clubs (in sunnier places) he is interested in to hurry up and do the deal. Move on to someone who genuinely wants to play for us.

Why the hell do we keep being linked to this player, at 17M if we really wanted him I’m sure we’d of pulled the trigger by now , and the same goes for jota these are nothing more then ghost targets. Or why would we be negotiating 35M for a unproven Duran ?

Do we ever pull the trigger quickly…….they like to talk forca few months first to givevother clubs a chance to nick our targets…
      ..then it’s..BUT WE TRIED

  • Ian says:

Latest rumours state he’s on his way to either Bologna or Roma. Nothing about us.

Fork him. He turned us down twice. Shove him sideways where the sun don’t shine
