Strikers back in the Hammers picture

|

Gianluca Scamacca probably leaving for Roma, Michail Antonio still seemingly wanting away and Danny Ings not fully fit, as evidenced by his display against Rennes plus a lack of new faces at the London Stadium, you would be right to think that that heads are beginning to drop

However, it isn’t all doom and gloom for West Ham, as a Premier League-proven duo are now said to be on their list of potential replacements.

low raterIt now appears that both Divock Origi and Armando Broja are back on the Hammers’ radar.

Origi has long been of interest to the Irons and still only 28 , the former Liverpool striker could be a steal at just £8m, if he could stay away from the physio’s table and find some consistency, he would be a welcome addition to the ranks.

We have “previous” with Broja, as we tried to sign him from Chelsea last year, the latest reports are saying that a £30m bid might to the trick

With the season now just around the corner, Moyes will be hoping he has a clearer indication of what his squad might look like in the next few days.

Meanwhile, the clock is still ticking…

I hope not. If Origi is that good why didn’t we sign him on a free 12 months ago. There are better options.

Whatever is happening behind the scenes the lack of recruitment needs sorting out . It’s not acceptable that we have not signed anyone this late in the window. ! It’s worrying
