Sturridge in line for Liverpool replay

daniel-sturridge-danny-liverpool-manchester-united-premier-league_3001952Liverpool’s Daniel Sturridge, Philippe Coutinho and Divock Origi are all set to travel to West Ham for the replay.

The Scousers have made plenty of team changes in previous rounds and boss Jurgen Klopp looks set shuffle the pack again.

He said: “We haven’t decided on starting line up yet. Sturridge was fit enough to be on bench on Saturday. He was very impressive in Friday’s session.

“Coutinho and Origi will also be in the squad tomorrow if they are fine today. Cameron Brannagan is ill which is a shame for him because he played really well.

“We have 38 players in our squad. We will make a squad for the game but it won’t be like Exeter because other players can now play.”

  1. That makes loosing Tomkins all the more sad,
Many laughed at me when I said not getting a right back could ruin our season, now we will see why Jenkinson and JOB are liabilitys,
We should have given Oxford playing time at right back to cover Tomkins,
Byram is a great signing but being cup tied makes a big difference when our cup run is so important,
Hope JOB proves me wrong but not holding my breath,
Wetpants Samites no need to reply to me I know you will back JOB which is SAD and shows football limits of knowledge

  2. I agree bubs.Oxford is a star and needs playing time at the top level. He wouldn’t be any worse than some that have played the last 2 games.Crunch time against Norwich in my opinion. On recent form it’s a danger game.A loss or draw would be totally unacceptable.

  3. Not worried about Nowich Byram will be back,
But the cup now is a big deal and we don’t want any weak links,if Sturridge or Benteke get a early goal we could go out, that would start a rumbling in the seats, then we will reshuffle our team and cause unrest,
Slav needs to find his best 11 stick by it and those who can’t get in will have to suck it up,
You can’t play Noble,Song,Moses and Valencia if they only turn up every 5 games
Kouyate ,Antonio,Lanzini,Sakho,Reid Adrien Cresswell play well most or every game,
Collins Tomkins Ogbonna Obiang Payet turn up most games but do have off games,
Oxford and Cullen have not had a chance, even teams like Liverpoor have given their youngsters a chance and found gold if you don’t dig you don’t find gold ?
