Sullivan airs views on the point at OT

|

david-sullivan_1822192c (1)David Sullivan doesn’t do praise easily but his delight at the Old Trafford point on Saturday was very clear indeed today.

Discussing the various performances he joined the unanimous view when commenting to ClaretandHugh that Winston Reid was outstanding whilst adding that Chiek Kouyate was different class.

But he said: “Everybody was very good although there were one or two outstanding performances.”

And speaking to the official site he expressed his sympathy for Mauro Zarate saying: “Mauro is one of the best finishers at the club and I know he will be gutted that he was not able to convert the chance when he was through on goal.

Hopefully he will be able to put that behind him and get on the score sheet when we play Stoke on Saturday.

Winston Reid had a superb game at the back and all the defenders played their part in helping us to come away with an impressive clean sheet.

We have taken only three points from the last five games, but in all three draws we were so close to getting the win, so I can’t be too downhearted.”

Close is never close enough ?
That would put us on 29 points !!!!
Unfortunately its about taking you’re chances !!
    We didn’t !!!
Strange thing is we are still 6th, at present ,
Stoke will be no easy game , its a must get 3 points game ,close doesn’t get 3 points ???
Far to many injurys , we must take our chances to compensate for that fact !!!
Or we will get more closer to mid table ??
Regardless of our great defensive qualities and efforts !!!
That’s just how it is unfortunately !!!!
