David Sullivan has made a claim that Javier Hernandez could be one of the greatest players to have ever signed for the club.
And given the Mexican’s record at the top of the game it would be very hard to disagree with such an assessment.
Chicharito becomes the 33rd striker signed by the club since Sullivan and David Gold took over and we are due to hit the jackpot!
Sullivan said: “He is potentially the best player to ever come to the club. He is probably the best proven goalscorer we have signed.
He’s done it in the Premier League with Manchester United. His goal-scoring was a goal every two-and-a-half games, so that’s a pretty good record.”
Sullivan also refused to rule out a move for England and Arsenal star Jack Wilshere, among others in August.
The Hammers chief added: “I can’t comment on players from other clubs and we have a lot of good midfielders at the club, but never say never.”
No more eBay for Mrs B
Been back 1 day got a new sofa, set of saucepans and a cracking plan how to spend my retirement fund ( nope stick to the old one) buy beer
The Pea will deliver if we provide
The main thing for me is if Martinez shadows him for 3 years we will have an instant replacement,
Same with The Jewel and Quina
In fact we have so many young players that could learn and cover injuries and cup games ( not all at once )
We could build are future for little cost
Are you back in England now then bubs, left Spain for good?
Please say never to Wilshere. His injury record combined with ours? He could play less than AC…
Hats off to you MR Sullivan and team Really really excellent summer transfer business.
