Sullivan hopes for three in and three out

|

David_Sullivan_gives_Hammers_signDavid Sullivan has made it clear he wants three in and three out when the January transfer window opens.

The club’s chief shareholder, however, is deeply aware of how tough it is to get the right players and as a result claims the club may not get any and that he is working on hope rather than positive confidence.

Tthe Hammers have been aiming high and have made loan inquiries for Manchester United strikers Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial.

Rashford would be the preferred target as he appears to have fallen out of favour with manager Jose Mourinho and, despite recently signing a new deal at Old Trafford, remains on just £32k a week .

A right back remains on the agenda and Wolves’ Dominic Iorfa has been constantly scouted by the Irons. However, with the midlands outfit in 18th position  in the Championship, they could be reluctant to sell next month.

A goalkeeper is also on the Hammers radar with Slaven Bilic wanting to bring in Joe Hart or Asmir Begovic.

In a recent interview with Sky Sports Sullivan said: “There is no expectation about what we might do., only hope. Maybe three players out and three players in, but that is only the hope.

In reality, your hopes don’t always come true, and we could end up doing no business at all.”

    Kev, you’re not far wrong.

We do desperately need a striker to play alongside Carroll, with Sakho injured and Ayew due to depart on extended international duty in Jan/Feb. A right back who can hit the ground running (rather one for the future like Byram) would be welcome, too. However, I suspect Bilic will still prefer to play Antonio at right back just so he can squeeze in an extra attacking wide mid-fielder.

We don’t need a new keeper . Maybe we We need a few loan players .
We need to sell a fistful of players and buy a few .
We have the squad already that should see us survive this season . Just needs the Manager to do his job and get them playing as a team .
Can’t stand listening to more empty promises .
It’s never an easy ride being a Hammers fan , never has been . But all the talk of what we will do and new player speculation just saps the strength right out of us .
How about just getting on with it with what we’ve got and showing we can play .
There are no quality players interested in moving to West Ham without huge salaries .
So forget it and get on with it .
Unless that is , we are prepared to sign second division hopefuls and take a chance which would be very brave but not altogether stupid .
If we beat Swansea it will create another wave of hope . That’s positive but , also dangerous unless some changes are seen to be happening .
Bloody hell ; this is hard work to explain how I feel .
