Sullivan makes feelings known on Everton

|

sullivan_5535cDavid Sullivan reckons James McCarthy could easily have been sent off for the tackle that has put Dimi Payet out of action for three months.

The Irons chairman – writing on the club’s official website – said:  “I thought some of the tackling by Everton was strong and I was amazed it took so long for them to get a yellow card.

“We’ve ended up with two badly injured players. Some weeks the challenge on Payet would have been a red card and his injury changed the game for us.”

Controlled statement from the chairman as to be expected. You sense his true feelings would be more emotive.More the domain of David jnr.Time for an end to the recriminations or Macarthyism and let’s belt the spuds. We don’t forget Macarthy when we play Everton again and play accordingly.
