Sullivan: “Payet would cost £30m if he was 22”

payet_signing_726David Sullivan has hailed the arrival of Dimitri Payet as an “absolutely fantastic signing.”

The co chairman has worked on taking the winger out of Marseilles for several months.

And was as delighted as we at ClaretandHugh has ever heard him after the player signed a five year deal with the Irons.

He declared:”He’s a real footballer, a West Ham type player. ”

And he added ” He’s an absolutely  fantastic signing, a player who’d cost £330 million if he was 22 years old!

“He provided the most assists in France last year and the third most assists in Europe.”

David_Sullivan_gives_Hammers_signAnd he added that the hunt goes for more signings on and that he is doing everything he canto provide the fans with an exciting and powerful team next season.

He declared: “We are really trying to strengthen the team.”
