David Sullivan has finally killed off the many rumours and ill informed speculation surrounding the Hammers transfer activity this summer.
And certainly the weeks long speculation that Arsenal’s Jack Wilshere could be on his way to the London Stadium looks dead in the water.
The one time much hailed Wilshere is not in Arsenal manage Arsene Wenger’s plans after spending last season with Bournemouth.
However his chances of making the move across London hit rock bottom this morning as Sullivan discussed his priorities for the rest of the window on the club’s official site.
After welcoming Joe Hart to the club he declared: “We are concentrating solely now on signing two attackers, then we will be satisfied.”
That really should put the silly season rumour factor out of business but I don’t suppose any of us will be holding our breath on that one.
Adrian understandably wishes Sullivan would stay off the social media after saying Hart is the best goalkeeper he has had, it was another ill conceived statement bearing in mind he has two permanent keepers and he is talking up the one on loan.
Either a thoughtless comment about Hart, or a considered one designed to make Adrian/Randolph push themselves harder.
In terms of the “two” strikers – one MUST be Hernandez: he scores goals.
The other can be either Arnautovic or Balde. We must not get both of them at the expense of Hernandez.
I was the first to moan about lack of targets but wen ,,if we get Marko And the pea I will be happy especially with heart and zab already dine done but what about that Lazio rumor is that true ..also found out strange about best keeper comments like u say is it to push randy and Adrian???
I think he was giving them or more specifically adrian a kick up the arris.Which will do him no harm in the long run.
