Sullivan talks Ravel

Ravel-Morrison-2Hammers supremo David Sullivan has admitted that talks are going on with Ravel Morrison’s agents.

But he stopped short of saying that a new contract was under discussion as the club continues to play its cards close to its chest.

ClaretandHugh has learned that the midfielder has dedicated himself to making an impact at Upton Park this season.

The player and his advisers believe any bad blood which existed has been put aside by both sides.

They were encouraged that Sam Allardyce picked him for a pre-season friendly before allowing him to miss the New Zealand tour in favour of undergoing surgery on his groin problem.

We have learned that although there is no current interest, the player has been subject to inquiries from AC Milan, Sporting Lisbon. Newcastle, Liverpool and Manchester City last year.

However, the Irons want to see that his attitude and application are absolutely correct before committing to a big deal.

Sullivan said: “Discussions are on going with Ravel and his agents.”
