David Sullivan is desperate to see Alex Song back in action for the Spurs game.
Speaking to the official site the co chairman has made it clear that the loanee is a key player and that he wants him back on the pitch forthwith.
He said: “We had good news with Alex Song playing his first competitive game against Crystal Palace last week in a behind-closed-doors friendly.
He said: “We need Alex back as soon as possible and if he can re-produce the form that he showed in the first half of last season, then we have a major player to come back into the first-team.
We need all our best players in action to accumulate as many points as we can.”
