Superb performance, great win – how the fans responded

Fabulous performance against a less than impressive Manchester United from a team on a mission yesterday.
Here’s what the fans though at the ClaretandHugh Facebook page.

O A great day all round. This was probably the best first half I’ve seen from us in years, if not ever. And to go on and close out the win in such style was brilliant. We made United look very very ordinary, and let’s not forget that Jose put out Mourinho centre backs and a trio of supposed giants in midfield, whom we ran rings round! Magnificent stuff, and a great 70th birthday present for Sir Trevor as well!God I love what I’m seeing and the stadium is fab for me. A big occasion demands a big stage – makes it special
O God I love what I’m seeing and in a stadium which truly gives a sense of event. Big performances need a big stage.
O For me it has a feel of 1986 about this season , poor start before a Sudden upsurge in form .🙂
That third goal was superb, can’t remember many defensive-splitting through balls like that.

O United were so, so bad. Which made it even more enjoyable!

Fantastic day in the sun. Saturdays don’t get much better than that! From back to front we were superb!!
O Even the walk back to Stratford didn’t seem that long and soul-less!!! Things definitely on the up 😁
