‘Supercomputer’ predicts the final table

Hammers are predicted to finish in 11th place according to the supercomputer

Those famous ‘supercomputers’ are about to start popping up all over the place predicting where we will finish at the end of the season.

And the first has appeared via Football Web Pages who have run a simulation to work out the final placings in the Premier League.

And although it’s not bad news for the Irons we reckon the result could have been more optimistic with teams such as Fulham, Newcastle, Huddersfield, Everton, Leicester City and Southampton on their way to the London Stadium.

Agreed our away fixtures look a lot tougher but with players returning to action there’s room for hope of the odd decent return.

However, whichever way you look at it a predicted finish of 11th isn’t bad news for most Hammers fans – notably after the dreadful start and recent Arnautovic saga.

ClaretandHugh still believes a top team finish is on the cards for a manager who  still has his eyes on Europe.

Above is the League table according to Football Web Pages.

  1. I wouldn’t take any notice, it thinks Liverpool will win every game from now, not convinced tbh

  2. Agree with u ahammer, The ‘soopahcompootah; seems to have Scallys running away with it and Huddersfield only getting a single point, Cardiff 2 points and Burnley 3 from here….

  3. I’ll be surprised if Cardiff only manage to pick up another two points from their twelve remaining games. I think they have a bit more in them than that.

  4. Like ahammer , I also am not convinced . 11th for the Hammers isn’t bad all considering but I think that could be 9th or 8th when you take into account injured players returning . Our players are looking jaded just now and definitely miss a spot of rotation .
Man Utd look very likely to qualify for the Champions League . 1st ( Champions) can go either way . I also think Chelsea will pip Arsenal to 4th Place . Bottom three , yeh , not much to say about that really , is there .

  5. i think the supercomputer has been hacked by a scouser.

  6. I think this is fair enough as a prediction. The sides they have above us are imo, with possible exception on Everton, better than us. Results suggest Bournemouth & Brighton are too. But these things, although the word ‘computer’ suggests they have some superior intelligence basically work by predicting based on wht

  7. Pressed ‘post’ in error!!

  8. Well if we don’t beat Fulham that would pretty much wrap it up for Hal 9000 .

  9. Watching Huddersfield v Arsenal yesterday, I can see Huddersfield getting more than 1 point in their remaining games.

  10. So 15 points from our remaining 12 games ? If we get any more injuries that could be a po

  11. If we finish 11th it will be very disappointing, anything worse than 8th I think will be underachieving. Hopefully Lanzini will be back, it will take him a few games to get up to speed, if we have him and Nasri in midfield I think we will start scoring goals.
