Supporters’ August expectations revealed

Over 1,170 West Ham supporters took part in a poll to reveal how many points that the Hammers can score in August,

We asked Claret and Hugh readers about their expectations of what the Premier League points tally will be at the end of August.

West Ham last scored points in August in 2016 when the Hammers beat AFC Bournemouth 1-0.

With three games left in August against Brighton, Watford and Norwich nine points are up for grabs.

Nineteen per cent of readers believe that West Ham will score four points with over seventeen per cent saying six points.

Over fourteen per cent say seven points while thirteen per cent says five points.

An optimistic twelve per cent think all nine points are possible while a pessimistic eleven per cent say it will only three points.

Nearly seven per cent say we will score no points in August with four per cent saying one point and two per cent saying two points.
