Supporters confident of Premier League survival

West Ham supporters remain confident of Premier League survival even after other results didn’t go their way last weekend.

The Hammers won 4-9 against Norwich City relegating them but those 3 points were wiped out by wins for Watford, Aston Villa and Bournemouth.

In a Claret and Poll of 1,562 readers, 77% say the Hammers will not be relegated with just 23% fearing the drop to the Championship.

West Ham remain 16th place on 34 points with a goal difference -15 six-goal better than Watford on the same points

Bournemouth remain three points behind West Ham with a goal difference of -24 nine goals behind the Hammers

Aston Villa remains four points behind the Irons with a goal difference of -27 twelve goals behind the Hammers.

Bookies make Villa and Bournemouth odds on favourites for the drop with Villians 1/10 odd-on and Cherries 1/12 odds-ons.

Watford are odds of 4/1 to be relegated while West Ham are the outsiders of the bottom five at 8/1

  1. Wow! Did Norwich score those 9 goals during the drinks breaks or at half-time? Tricky lot those Canaries!
