Supporters’ group role in creation of new West Ham shirt

West Ham United’s Official Supporters Board were instrumental in the creation of the 2020/2021 home kit which was launched today.

The WHUOSB kit subgroup conducted a fan survey but also met with Umbro a number of times to help design the 125th anniversary kits.

Results from the supporter’s survey were published on Claret and Hugh last April

With over 3,000 voting,  West Ham supporters said they wanted white socks for their home kit, they wanted conventional colours with a preference for Sky Blue away kit,  they didn’t want collars but wanted traditional sky blue sleeves and also wanted a crossed Hammers embroidered on the back.  To be fair, Umbro has delivered on all these preferences with the launch today of the latest home kit.

Well done to the West Ham United Official Supporters Board sub-group members for a cracking kit and listening to the supporters.

And well done to West Ham United for listening to the fans.
