Supporters meet with Brady

The West Ham United Official Supporters’ Board (WHUOSB) met last night at the London Stadium club store. The 18 strong Supporters’ board includes a representative from Claret and Hugh.

Jake Heath, Supporter Services Manager updated members on actions since the last meeting, including how the board will communicate work of the OSB together with kit design, ticketing and formation of BAME subgroups.

West Ham Vice-Chairman Karren Brady who was present at the meeting recommended a catering subgroup and, as part of the board, has agreed with Delaware North, London Stadium’s catering providers, that members of this group will have a tour of the facilities at a coming game to better understand the offering.

Confirmation was shared that the Billy Bonds Stand will be unveiled in a prestigious ceremony prior to kick-off at the Club’s Premier League fixture against Newcastle United on Saturday 2nd March.

Confirmation was also given that the Club will be formally announcing the timing for the brand-new claret pitch surround later this month!

It was reaffirmed that the Official Supporters Board is the only official supporter group that the Club engages with – the core objective is to ensure that this provides a constructive and meaningful platform between supporters and West Ham United Board.

Full minutes of the Official Supporters’ Board will be published on WHUFC.com in 7 days.

  1. I did notice someone called Greg Smith on the board, wasn’t he one of the main people behind the ‘real’ West Ham fans action group? I was under the impression the club were making a clean brake from people associated from this group after all the threats came out from them last season?

  2. Greg is no longer an ad admin on the Real West Ham fan group. The applications were independent from the club and selected by an independent panel including Trevor Brooking and Carlton Cole
