Supporters predict south coast stalemate

|

44% of the Claret and Hugh readers believe that West Ham will draw today against Bournemouth on the south coast.

27% still believe we manage another away win while the remaining 26% say we will fall to a defeat to an inform Cherries team.

Bournemouth have won four of the eight previous Premier League encounters against the Hammers  (D2, L2).

The Cherries are unbeaten in the past five league meetings (W3, D2) and completed the league double over West Ham last term.

There have been 17 goals scored in four top-flight matches between the sides at the Vitality Stadium.

Only eight of the 30 Premier League goals in this fixture have been scored in the first half, and 10 of the last 11 have come in the second half.

Bournemouth’s haul of 10 points from six matches equals their best start to a Premier League season.

They are looking to win three consecutive Premier League games for the first time since August 2018.

West Ham have 11 points after six matches, as many as they accrued from the opening six games of the three previous seasons combined.

The Hammers have lost only one of their past 10 Premier League fixtures (W6, D3).

West Ham are unbeaten in five away league matches (W3, D2), having previously gone eight games without a win on the road.

West Ham have kept three successive league clean sheets.

The Hammers have accrued 51 points from their last 31 league games (W15, D6, L10).

Manuel Pellegrini has won 18 of his 44 Premier League fixtures as West Ham manager (41%), the best win percentage of any permanent Hammers boss in the competition.

The next goal scored by the Hammers will be their 3,500th in the top flight.
