Supporters warned about ticketing scam

West Ham supporters have been warned to be wary of buying away tickets for Genk on dubious ticketing websites.

One website called LiveFootballTickets.com was claiming to sell four away tickets for £399 per ticket before the ticket had even been released.

They are currently selling tickets for the same game in November in Belgium for £299 per ticket when the face value is £30.

All away tickets for the Europa League group game are non-transferable and sold out today so these are unlikely to be real away tickets.

West Ham Supporter Services responding to a question last week about the website said

” Ticket details for Genk away have not been released yet and no tickets have been sent out or available to supporters. I have flagged this with the Ticket Office Management Team who are looking into this. Thanks”

The ticketing website has been listed on the Premier League website as a rogue website with supporters advised not to purchase tickets from them.
