The Hammers have reportedly handed 26 year old Marcus Nilsson a one-week trial.
The capped Sweden international has recently become a free agent following his release by Kalmar FF. According to Aftonbladet.se Sam Allardyce is keen to give him a chance to allow him to prove himself.
He started his career at Helsingborgs IF in 2007 and became a first team regular in 2009 making 83 appearances for them and scoring 2 goals. In 2011 he moved to FC Utrecht before joining Kamar FF in 2014. The report claims that the centre-back will be in the stands watching West Ham’s home clash against Hull City on Sunday.
