It’s been spoken of at length since the the final whistle blew against Burnley but it does appear that Andy Carroll’s idiotic double lunge may well pave the way for a more attractive (not to mention effective) style of play. I’m surely not the only person who is concerned that Slav will shoehorn the big fella straight back into the starting line-up once his suspension is over and I can’t help thinking that a straight red and three game ban might have been better.
Our first home game of the season seemed an awful long time in coming and it was fantastic to see so many familiar faces on the pre-match boats and in the ground. I’ve had a season to get to know a few of the people around me and it was good to see that so many of the season ticket holders had renewed.
We get sent quite a few videos each week and this one has been particularly busy but I received this clip from Canadian Hammers fan Paul yesterday and just had to give him a platform all of his own.
Once again it’s your turn to voice your concerns about all things West Ham with our show featuring fans video clips. I never know what I’m going to get sent my way via the inbox but it’s clear that fan frustration is building regarding our lack of strikers.
He’s back . . . . . . hammerschat’s favourite guest joined us last night to preview our Boxing Day fixture and he didn’t pull any punches.
What can I say? There is no way to spin a result like that so what starts as a very good day out amongst fellow hammers turns into a day to forget once the football starts.
