Reports from Italy indicate that West Ham are exploring the prospect of an audacious move for Juventus midfielder Manuel Locatelli as David Moyes seeks an upgrade for Tomas Soucek.

David Moyes should discontinue his three-man midfield experiment as it has proven to be ineffective. This approach was initially stumbled upon by the West Ham manager after Nayef Aguerd’s sending off against Chelsea earlier this season. Unfortunately the tactics are not working.

Whilst I felt that West Ham were in second gear for much of the final 45 minutes against Sheffield United. There were some who endeavoured to sparkle and impress. Unfortunately for Said Benrahma, Mohammed Kudus sparkled so much, it magnified his Algerian team mate’s flaws.
