Hammers Chat

Talk a Good Game | Saints Preview

|

Hopefully a West Ham team buoyed by that last gasp Payet inspired victory against Accrington can take some confidence into Sundays game against Southampton.

We discuss who should start up front, Oxfords omission from the mid-week game and of course how we can fill the void at left back. . . . . .   and much more.

The show contains our usual predictions as well as announcing the winners from our book competition. There are also opportunities for some to join us on the bar boats situated just outside the stadium where we’ll also be running a BBQ before and after the game so stay tuned for full details.

I also briefly mention the travel disruption expected over the next few months so please look further down the page for Sean’s article to see if theses will impact your journey.

Let’s hope that our season starts here.

Hammers Chat my first game was West Ham 10-0 Bury . . . seriously!
We than went and bought Bury's central defender 😬⚒️ Irons

Started Hammers Chat alongside my partner in crime Geo back in 2014 and brough in to Claret & Hugh by my old mate Hughie to produce videos a couple of years later.

Give West Ham opinions on Sky Sports News and even did a bit of moonlighting on BBC Football Focus.

Sometimes feature on BBC Radio 5 Live and once ate a biscuit in Tony Gales shed.

Connoisseur of salted caramel doughnuts and I love a Sloppy Giuseppe pizza although I'm slightly suspicious where the name came from.

When I'm not moaning about West Ham I can be found walking a dog that looks like a sheep and tinkering with pinball machines.

More West Ham moaning is done on a daily basis here 👇👇

Byram to left-back, Arbeloa at right-back – Noble warming the bench – sorted!

The team may indeed be “buoyed by a late goal against Accrington”, but , remember; it was scored against Accrington ! Not an altogether great achievement ! Still, I hope that you’re right. If the club are really worried about keeping Oxford etc. , what about the little incentive of giving these young players a game every now & again ?
