“Talk is cheap” says Bowen
Jarrod Bowen has revealed his love of the club in the past admitting too that he is also a fan of West Ham United and admits now that after recent results “talk is cheap.”
He is a player who thinks and reacts as a fan when asked the softer questions of the media department. He is a guy to admire very much.
He scored his eighth goal of the season yesterday and was again in good form despite the Hammers staging a massive second half collapse against Brentford and has now made his feelings very well known as a result.
Like James Ward-Prowse before him he declares we were poor and the only way this will stop is not by taking about improvement but by showing it on the pitch
We have now lost our last three Premier League outings and have taken four points from a possible 21.
And speaking to www.whufc.com the number 20 said: “We weren’t strong enough to try and keep the ball out the back of the net as a whole collective.
“I think talk is cheap now”
“I think if you score two goals away from home you expect to pick something up from the game, so we have to be stronger.
“I think talk is cheap now. We’ve had a really poor set of results, minus Arsenal. Obviously we have to come and speak about it, but talk is cheap and it has to change on the pitch.”
“It’s really disappointing,” he said. “We let it crumble and they won the game. It was a poor game from us.
“We came in at half-time 2-1 up, but in the second half it was far too easy for them. The goals were poor and we’re disappointed on our part to concede those type of goals.
