Teddy gives former Irons keeper a trial

Peter-Kurucz_2677155Stevenage manager Teddy Sheringham has confirmed that former West Ham goalkeeper Peter Kurucz is on trial with Stevenage. The 27-year-old Hungarian was on the Hammers’ books between 2009-2012, coming on as substitute for Rob Green against Manchester United.

The former Hammer’s time at The Boleyn Ground was cut short after he ruptured his anterior cruciate ligament.  Sheringham confirmed the trial saying:

“We have got Peter Kurucz from Hungary on trial with us, who was with West Ham a couple of years ago, so we are having a look at him.”
