Teddy Sheringham has great memories of his Manchester United but us backing the Hammers all the way this afternoon
The irons attacking coach expects goals declaring: “Both teams have got good firepower. Manchester United’s defensive difficulties have been speculated about a lot this year and they’ve found players to come in.”
He told www.whufc.com: They’re winning games so they’ll be confident coming to Upton Park and expect to win again, but we’re a formidable team with big firepower, so I expect goals and, sorry Manchester United fans, but I expect us to edge it by one!”
He recalls his United days with some affection saying: “For me, it is still the biggest club in the world, up there Barcelona and Real Madrid. Wherever we went there were thousands of people who wanted to see Manchester United players and I think that still remains the same.
“When you go through a winning period like they did under Sir Alex, that grows even more so with the more you win.
