That man Sakho top of poll again

That man Diafra Sakho is back in the headlines for all the right reasons again after being voted Player of the Month for the second successive month.

The French striker received  61 per cent of the votes on Twitter, beating West Ham team-mate Alex Song, Chelsea duo John Terry and Nemanja Matic and Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez.

Signing of the summer Sakho has been a revelation since joining the Irons from Metz during the summer, scoring seven goals in his last seven appearances.

The 24-year-old fired crucial goals in all three of West Ham’s fixtures in October as they beat QPR and Burnley and secured a memorable 2-1 victory against champions Manchester City.
