That mighty Irons comeback – how the fans reacted

It was the most extraordinary comeback we’ve seen in years.
The mighty Hammers – dead and buried apparently – rose and grabbed a victory right out of the throat of defeat and showed themselves a team that really may be capable of anything.
Here’s what ClaretandHugh Facebook members have been saying at
Everton-v-West-Ham-LIVEO We got Payet .. nuff said

O We’ve got Payet Dimitri Payet I just don’t think you understand
O After Adrian saved that penalty I had that feeling that we would not lose it. But to win it in such way!!! COYI!!!

O This is history in the making! Super Slav, Mighty Hammers – Champs league here we come?

O What CANT this team do?

O What a comeback, what a performance. How much of a difference does Sakho make!!! Sakho, Payet, Lanzini and Carroll in the same team….. The stuff of dreams!!!! COYI!

I think we are showing off a bit, though – giving teams a 2 goal lead each time! smile emoticon

O  So they keep talking about City and United still challenging for the title, surely we’re right in the mix!

O Let’s hope they don’t start talking us up and we can slip in under the radar unnoticed
From here on in everything is a bonus

O Adrian is MOM for me. His saves turned the Team on. But everyone deserve credit.
O I’ve supported the Hammers since 1978 , Lyall, Bonds, Brooking, Parkes, Di Canio and many many more, lots of very very poor players aswell but in all that time I haven’t seen a team with the team spirit as this one , we hammers fans deserve this, we are so proud of everyone of Team West Ham.

We now have a team that shows as nut spirit as its fans, our travelling fans again did a great job again,
If Palace had not been done by another doggy ref we would be looking strong for Europe,
But don’t trust these officials where clubs like Liverpoor are involved and if they scrape into Europe with there poor side it will be bad for the game,
Van Gal did his norm talking a load of rubbish in his krap English, look at individual players records what a croc,Mata is not a nasty player but he deserved to go and he did his team

Listen. After over 50 years supporting this great club, I would love us to make it to the Champions League. But I’m getting just a little fed up with fellow fans getting carried away as if it’s a realistic likelihood. It’s not. It means one of the top four needs to implode and we need to continue winning. Oh and watch out for Liverpool as well as Man Utd rediscovering the ridiculous luck they e had all season. Yes, of course it’s possible. Anything is possible. But please, please let’s keep our feet on the ground.

Our feet are on the ground , planted firm . The reason we are in this position ain’t through luck its been deserved , if not for the injury we would be top IMO. It also seems the injury arecoming back so everything is possible , its a rreality , we are here on merit , its there for the taking , I don’t think anyone is taking it for granted , just on belief and ability in this squad , I think that granted remark is a bit of self disbelief, have faith mate as its a possibility ! Its also a huge bonus for everyone involved with the club as we are achieving much more than was expected ! As bubs indicated in so many words !
