The boys are back in town

trainingThe boys are back in town and how great to see some training ground action after a long ‘summer’.

On the day the Welsh – with James Collins celebrating like a man possessed – scored the finest victory in the history, our Hammers marched back to prepare for another pre season.

The squad of 22 – less our Euro 2016 participants and Michail Antonio, whose partner is expected to give birth next week, will be heading for the States later for two prestige friendlies.

But yesterday they were back in the familar surroundings under the watchful eye of the backroom staff.

Julian Dicks however, admitted they are ready and anxious to get going saying: “I like America and have coached there for the past four or five years. The lads won’t just want to train – they will want games. We are looking forward to it.

“I’m delighted to be back with a new two year contract. It’s great and I can’t wait to get started again.”
