Lusitanos may seek to switch Irons clash

|

stadIn a new Europa Cup twist of fate,  Lusitanos could ask UEFA for the West Ham match on the 2nd July to be reversed to avoid a clash with fellow Andoran team UE Sant Julia.

Both Andoran teams have been drawn at home in the first qualifying round of the Europa League in the small European microstate.

A lack of UEFA category 2 stadiums in the small country could see Lusitanos asking that their home match to West Ham being swapped to an away match for the first leg and reverting back to home match on the 9th July.

Andorra’s national stadium of Estadi Nacional with a capacity of 3,306 appears to be the only stadium capable of meeting the UEFA regulations for the Europa competition.

I get your point but saying 7-0 is a bit rich. That kind of attitude is not going to do us any good.
A 3-0,4-0 win would have the 2nd leg a formality and still make tickets hard to sell.
I will probably go to this even if it is on the Box if the price is right £10-£15 and kids for a quid.
I don’t know why they want to switch, if we win 5-0 say at home then hardly anyone will want to go and it probably won’t be on the box.

Anything more than a tenner a ticket for adults they are taking the p*ss.They will make just as much money at that price with the crowd they will get than if it is £20 or more 😉

If the club price it decently we should get a pretty good crowd. But if they kick the ass out of it people wont bother. It is a good opportunity for people who wouldnt normally be able to get tickets to go to the ground one last time possibly.

Home leg first might work, if 1st leg is away and we win 7-0 its going to be tough selling tickets for the home leg
