“The defeats must stop right now”

Joey O’Brien has given a very firm view on “what next” for the Irons despite making only one less than impressive performance this season – against Arsenal on Sunday.

The full back made it clear that after back to back defeats to Chelsea and Arsenal the losses had to stop right now!

With WBA on the agenda for New years Day the Irishman said: “It’s the biggest game of the season for us. We are coming off two defeats so if we want to be in the top six or seven, then we have to win our home games.

“If you go on a run of losing games you’ll find yourself 10th whereas in the last couple of weeks we’ve been fourth.

“Things can change pretty quickly but we are still looking up and we are going forward.”

  1. Does this mean he has opted not to play “For the good of the Team”

  2. Yes Brooking my sentiments exactly.

  3. When you see O’Brien back in the team it makes you realize how much we should appreciate Jenks while we have him.The thought of Joey back in on a regular basis is frightening
