News that the FA is to charge the Irons is no surprise but remains an absolute and total disgrace from an organisation which lost any usefulness it may have had many many years ago.
Manned by, in the main, old men harking back to the ‘good old days,it seem to collect most of its money by bringing unfair actions and arriving at unfair punishments .
Never has an organisation had such fitting initials.
In a statement the organisation says: A statement on the FA website read: “Everton and West Ham United have been charged by The FA following their game on 22 November 2014.
“It is alleged that in or around the 40th minute of the fixture, both clubs failed to ensure their players conducted themselves in an orderly fashion.
“The clubs have until 6pm on 1 December 2014 to respond to the charge.”
Police charge aggressors – not victims. The FA have managed to turn justice on its head.
McCarthy’s actions were a total disgrace as was the total non action of referee Mark Clattenburg.
Quite how West Ham as a club can be held responsible for the melee that followed following such shocking behaviour by both is beyond comprehension.
With not many interested in their England team and the FA Cup having been reduced in importance, the FA really don’t have a lot to sell these days.
Thus they are kept going financially to a great extent it seems by imposing large fines for tiny injustices. Who can forget (love him or like him) Robbie Savage getting a TEN GRAND fine for taking a dump in the referee’s toilet because the fella was on anti biotics.
The FA is a joke – sadly a very expensive one. It is no longer competent of running our game. In fact is hasn’t been for many years
Well said Sir! Summed up also today by the Northumberland FA sacking its member who is 77 years old (77 years old, you couldn’t make it up!) for saying a grade 3 female referee should not referee matches as she isn’t up to it and she should be in the kitchen! I’m not sure what shocks me the most that he is still on the FA committee at 77 or that he would say that.
