The Hammers Ratings v Everton

AdrianjenksAdrian: Forever the hero of an epic affair with that winner and he got right into the ears of their pen takers 7

Jenkinson: Another quality performance and ensured that Baines didn’t cause his normal havoc 7

Collins: Awesome performance at the back and my man of the match. Got forward to provide a real aerial threat 9

Tomkins: Provided the knock down for CC’s goal and top performance all round¬†8

Cresswell: Running out of words to describe this guy’s regular top perfomances, Excellent again 8

Song: Off after an hour as as expected, not fully match fit but some lovely stuff at times while he was around 7

Noble: Generally good performance but one notable error that needed a breathtaking piece of help out defending from Collins 7

Downing: Always busy but missed a key spot kick which put the entire outcome in the balance 7

Jarvis: Inneffective throughout – clearly not up to match speed yet 5

Valencia: Fine goal and slowly getting it together with Carroll. Exciting runs at speed. Good display 7

Carroll: The man was everywhere causing mayem everywhere. Excellent 8

Subs: Amalfitano: Exciting performance 7

Cole: Well done Carlton and thanks – real poacher’s goal 7

Nolan: Possibly his best performance of the season. Great passing and one fine effort which failed to find the net 7

The game need not have been that close. We were cruising to a comfortable win when BFS decided to take off Song. His disappointment at being substituted was evident from the expression in his face. This tactical change by BFS so nearly cost us. If it ain’t broke don’t fix it. Once again we win inspite of and not because BFS.
