The joy has gone…it feels a chore – but we’ll keep on going because it’s what us fans are all about

pete 2Another week and another spectacular result.

Yes, the mighty Hammers have a lot to celebrate with the spectacular win over Stoke.

A result that is up there with our three FA Cups and the European Cup Winners Cup success.

bradyWhat win I hear you ask? Well, clearly you are out of touch with our own saviour Karren “two Rs because I’m worth it” Brady.

Yes, the scoreline was 1-1 and West Ham out West Hammed themselves by snatching a point from the jaws of victory, but the lovely  Lady Brady was on hand on Twitter to remind us that there were zero arrests in the London stadium during the game, and that was the REAL result.

Come on 10mins to go, I hope that copper isn’t gonna nab anyone in the final few minutes”

Kids walking to the ground were not looking up stats on Payet and Lanzini, theu were instead reviewing Met arrest figures for the previous 12 months, and wondering how the boys in blue will perform when their manager Bernard Hogan Howe retires.

Adrian  had a brain fart and gifted Stoke a point I’m his biggest fans but even i have had enough now). Mark Hughes criticised the pitch, and a Stoke fan wrote a brilliantly honest review of his match day experience at the LS which was a perfect summary and not something that could be categorised as being from a pro or anti the place.

Tore is looking increasingly likely to be on the first plane back to Turkey, although talks between West Ham and Besiktas resemble a Chuckle brothers episode with poor Tore being passed back “from me, to you etc etc”.

The guy’s move to West ham has been a spectacular disaster and if he stays much longer, I expect Dominic Littlewood to rock up to Besiktas on Rogue Traders, asking how they can have the front to claim Tore is a footballer!

After our transfer dealings this summer I suspect Karren is trying get to get most of our summer arrivals to return to thier previous clubs, although thus far the people at Poundland and 99p stores have not returned her calls.

Honestly, the number of loans we have, I can envisage Dave Sullivan fielding non stop calls from Gladstone Brooks asking if he’s had PPI of any of them

Speculation is rife that a couple of Chelsea players may be  ready to swap the King’s Road for the Barking road…(no, wait, it’s not that anymore is it) but some people claim Ivanovic  and Fabregas are not an improvement on Noble or Byram/Arbeloa……….yeah they are serious!?!?

Anyway, we play someone else this week, at some stadium or other, and if we win we can go to whatever position in the league.

That’s the way the season has gone this year for me and many others.

The joy has been sucked out of it, and watching West Ham has become a chore, but we still do it and we always will.

Let’s hope that there’s some spark against the bigger teams we are about to play in the typical West Ham traditions of raising our game, because its clear nobody can be bothered against the average ones!!

Big deep breath, and we go again……..

It has become a bit of a chore this year I can’t say I’m enjoying it at all!

I remember all those posts saying that Sullivan was working ‘flat out’ on the summer’s recruitment – now we find out his phone was out of order all the time!
