The one that got away

benLast summer Arsenal raided West Ham’s academy to poach promising young midfielder Ben Sheaf. Sheaf immediately signed scholarship forms with  Arsenal and became be part of their U18 squad. At the time the midfielder has been capped twice by England at U16. West Ham are thought to have received next to nothing in compensation.

This week Ben Sheaf his first professional contract with Arsenal after he turned 17 on Thursday. Sheaf has made 12 appearances in the Under-18 Premier League for Arsenal this season and has also featured for the north London-based outfit in both the FA Youth Cup and UEFA Youth League. The midfielder is renowned for his range of shooting and passing ability in the middle of the park, and has been tipped to make a big impact at Arsenal in the coming years.

  1. Proberly to adventurous and suffers from fatigue or has the wrong manager, never mind in a couple years we can buy him back for 10 mil or more,
