The return of Marko Arnautovic

|

It’s the photo many West Ham supporters have waited to see. The return of Marko Arnautovic to the Hammers matchday squad. The 29-year-old striker posted a photo of himself with fellow teammate Michail Antonio on his way to Burnley saying “Lets Go, My Brother, Michail Antonio”

The Austria international hasn’t featured for the Hammers since picking up a hamstring injury in the 3-1 win over Cardiff City earlier in the month and was originally expected to be out for the whole of December.

It remains to be seen whether Manuel Pellegrini will risk his for the game or whether he will just warm the bench seats. It would a massive surprise if he started on Sunday at Turf moor considering the length of time he hasn’t trained and his match fitness must be called into question.

Whether the Hammer gets any minutes on the pitch or not against Burnley is irrelevant, supporters will be just be happy to have him back in the squad for now.
