The return of Sakho

diafra-sakho-west-hamDiafra Sakho is fully expected to rejoin the first team squad within the next fortnight and could be on the bench for the match  at Hull City on April 1.

‘Sak’ has been making great progress in his rehab programme and hopes are now high the striker could even rejoin the first team squad within 10 days.

The club is now entirely confident that much required surgery has got to the bottom of his problems and that he will play a big part in the last eight games of the season.

We were told: “If truth be told the surgery should have been carried out when he was injured originally but he was keen to recover without the need for a spell in hospital.

However, now it’s finally been done he feels so much better and when he returns it will be like signing a new player. He’s running, looking strong and can’t wait to rejoin the first team squad.”

  1. Sad to say,but to much mediocre player against Chelsea,no idea,no passes,no shots on the goal, one big nothing!Chelsea won with ease…to many mistakes from our experiences players like Reid,Fonte and others…ok it’s Chelsea ,but still…

  2. Ok, we lost to a top team but what was glaringly obvious was the lack of pace in our team! No way could we have caught Chelsea on the break like they did to us for the first goal. Obiang was again different class, lanzini also. But ffs Slav, drop noble, move kouyate into midfield and put Byram RB.

This summer, my god do we need to invest in some pace!
