The Ultimate Final Game Video

Our partners over at hammerschat.com have released their farewell Boleyn video and it’s certainly original.

This video was recorded at the last ever game at Upton Park and includes some exclusive footage.

Covering all the usual match-day stop-offs like Nathans and Queens, into the stadium and finishing with Winston Reids winner this really does cover the whole day.

It also features a clearly emotional Mark Noble, the agony and the ecstasy of the fans and some pictures of the stadium (which was officially closed today) that will surely leave a lump in the throat.

Whether you are a regular at Kens, a consumer of the Ribman’s excellent cuisine or a member at the supporters club there is nostalgia aplenty here for you.

As we move forward into the Olympic Stadium Stratford this video gives you a quick trip down memory lane on what was a truly remarkable day.

  1. fingers in my ears with the music.

  2. What wrong with you mywhufc, its a top tune,Born Slippy.I went to see Underworld live they were brilliant 😉

  3. If it’s supposed to be the final game video, why not at least show all the goals? This just didn’t get any of the drama, and as for the “special effects” for Reid’s winner, dreadful, just terrible. And the music spoilt the rest of it, especially the scenes in the Boleyn, when we should have been able to hear the singing. This video did nothing to capture the atmosphere, emotion and drama of possibly the greatest ever night at the Boleyn.

  4. Great effort. Sure it would have been better with the full story of the goals – rather than so much time on the pre-game knock about – and not wild about effects for the Reid goal, BUT pretty good. Told the story….what it means to go to a match at the Boleyn…Nice addition for posterity. Thank you, guys

  5. Didn’t like the special effects part but the rest was pretty good for what it is.
