Third name enters Hammer of Year territory

We will soon be heading into Hammer of the Year territory and although their are two contenders expected to fight out a photo finish in Paqueta and Bowen, a third name enters the frame in Emerson!

The left back has been in terrific form all season, making a seamless replacement for the outstanding servant Aaron Cresswell and goes down as one of the manager’s best buys.

He has been excellent when defending but his real strength has been attacking down the left side and his goal at the weekend against Everton was a truly just reward for all his efforts this season.

From all one hears about him he is a very strong voice in the West Ham dressing room where both Bowen and Paqueta are making theirs heard too. Alphonse Areola is another name who comes into things such have been his performances this season but I would fully expect the award to go to Bowen as things stand.

He has regained a terrific goal scoring touch and played through injury when things were bad whilst Paqueta has had time on the side lines.

However, congratulations are seriously due to the other three who have all looked great members of a team which despite the recent slump is growing in stature as the weeks tick by HOPEFULLY.
