This has to happen for a successful transfer window

|

transfer-centre-transfer-window-generic_3060909West Ham are going to find it tough in the  transfer window unless they can stage a serious recovery in their fortunes between now and January.

Daniel Sturridge is currently the name on everybody’s lips but the club clearly need a top right back – and not a loanee.

Sorry, but even a fully fit Sam Byram is not the answer and I share the view of previous CandH blogger today Rich Sprent that this is an absolute priority.

But should the Hammers not start climbing the table soon it is going to be tough attracting the quality players we need to really push on.

It’s usually the relegation threatened teams that are the busiest at this time of the year and rarely does a game changer appear in such circumstances.

Naturally, top players aren’t too interested in entertaining the possibility finding themselves facing the pospect of a Championship career so it’s really important that we take something from Old Trafford on Sunday and start the climb now.

I don’t and never will believe we are going to be locked into a relegation scrap and I reckon the lads should take bags of confidence from a fine display on Sunday.

I have had a  ‘score’ on at a  very tasty looking 7/1 for the Irons to beat United on Saturday  and a ‘tenner’ saver on the draw at 16/5.

I feel it all starts to turn this weekend and if we want the likes of Sturridge or even Michy Batshuayi – again being mentioned – we need the revival to start here!
