This news WILL give Hammers fans hope for next season

West Ham’s 2025 season cannot end soon enough. Without listing the horrors again it has been a season to forget both on and off the pitch. Injuries, car crashes, sackings and bust-ups mean out will live long in the memory for all of the wrong reasons.

One whose season has ended early is Crysencio Summerville – his hamstring injury just wouldn’t recover however much he worked on rehab.

Contorversially Summerville decided against surgery to try and fix his problem but could not effect the repair his body needed. So, evidently from his social media post, he has decided to take the plunge and have the surgery that has been recommended to him:

“First of all thank you God, everything went well with the surgery. Hammers it wasn’t the season we hoped for, but we will be back next season to give our all for the club and the fans. On a personal note I will focus on my recovery & my comeback now and I c an’t wait to be back and show you guys the magic you’ve been waiting for. I see you guys soon! CS COYI!”

Brilliant news that the surgery has been successful. Get well soon, young man, can’t wait to see you back next season.

From the old Bobby Moore Upper to the Billy Bonds' stand these days - sometimes- have to admit I have not renewed my season ticket... I've been watching since '03 and a supporter since about 1970..
Favourite player - Dean Ashton: Still watch YouTube repeats of the Cup Final of 2006 hoping in vain that Shaka Hislop grows six inches and stops Steven Gerrard's injury time equaliser. Can tell I'm getting old knowing I saw both Mark Noble's debut and his last game at West Ham.
Pulling on a Claret and Blue replica shirt still makes me feel the same butterflies as when I was seven years old. Magic.

One has to ask, why didn’t he listen to the medical men and have the surgery months ago. Not impressed.

On a positive note, he will be like a new signing next season. And he’s already ours, bought and paid for!!

Shame it didn’t happen 3 months ago.
